Seven Generations of Showing Up

$40 Million Student Housing Investment

When two university presidents faced a student housing crisis, JP Jones Companies did not hesitate. We committed $40 million and built four buildings to solve the problem. We have been given much by this community. Giving back is the least we can do.

KJ Ice Barn

Kj Ice Barn needed land for its only ice rink. JP Jones Companies donated 3.28 acres to make it happen. Today that rink hosts hockey competitions and serves families across the region. We gave the land because it was the right thing to do.

University Partnerships

The Jones family connection to Southern Utah University spans generations. From helping build the original science building to providing internships in marketing, legal, and construction, JP Jones Companies has always believed that investing in the university is investing in the future of this region.

Internship Programs

JP Jones Companies has provided hands on internship opportunities for students across marketing, legal, and construction. We believe in giving young people a real start and a genuine look at what building a career in this region can look like.

Supporting Local Agriculture

Southern Utah’s farming and ranching heritage is worth protecting. JP Jones Companies actively supports local agricultural communities by preserving farmland, preventing overgrazing, and advocating for the proper use of land and water resources that rural families depend on to make a living.

Affordable Housing Initiative

Homeownership is becoming out of reach for too many families in Southern Utah. JP Jones Companies is actively working to change that. With deep roots in banking, lending, and community development, we are developing financing options and housing solutions designed to make owning a home possible for the families who make this region what it is.

Building for Those Who Need It Most

From helping a family member battling cancer remodel their home to finding ways to serve those in need across our community, JP Jones Companies has always understood that building a community means more than pouring concrete.
