Our Story
The communities where JP Jones Companies operates should be stronger, better, and more connected because we were part of them. That belief drives everything we do.
In 1835, John P. Jones crossed the plains and helped settle the region we now call Southern Utah. He was a builder and an ironworker who put down roots in a place that had very little of either. What he built was not just a home or a business. It was a foundation that seven generations of family have built on ever since.
Through every generation the work continued. Homes were built. Communities took shape. Southern Utah grew and the Jones family grew with it, always contributing, always building, always invested in the place they called home. That is not a coincidence. It is a pattern of commitment that runs deeper than any single project or company.
JP Jones Companies exists today as the continuation of that story. The portfolio has grown to include construction, homebuilding, real estate development, HVAC, excavation, and logistics. The brands have evolved and the scale has expanded. But the reason we do what we do has never changed. Southern Utah is our home. It was John P. Jones’ home. And everything we build is a reflection of what we believe this region deserves.
